History:

This Car was originally purchased by my father in 1973 after selling his 70 Nova SS and been through a few owners, but has remained in the family.

In the early eighties, the car was given to my Grandpa in the early eighties, and I started driving it in 1995 on weekends to cruise in.

Over the years, the car is started to show it’s age tho but is still looks good from a distance. It has it’s rust on the car, and it’s far from looking perfect as most of the pictures show. The front corners of the doors are rusting, and the front of the rear wheel-wells are starting to be eaten up, but from a distance, you can’t tell, so this car looks great.

Interior is still stock, sporting a bench seat setup, column shifter … headliner is sagging and seats need to be recovered, but is otherwise flawless.

The car was originally a 350 2 bbl, TH350 with 10 bolt 2.73 Posi. It remained that way until 1999 when I did some small performance upgrades, changing out the points distributor to HEI setup, 4 barrel carb, heddars and mild performance cam. Later on changing out the rear gears to a 3.42 ratio.

2003 took a whole new turn when I built (assembled) a 406ci, new TH350 with shift kit. Drove it with this setup for 8 years beating on it any chance I got. Had it out at the track a few times and best ET was a 13.30.

2012, my friend Dan Klim built me a pretty peppy 406ci to swap into the Nova, dyno’d at 328rwhp/330tq. This motor REALLY woke up the Nova for me and drove it into the low 12s at the track.

I have loved this car from when I first remember seeing it as a kid. I used to try an help my dad when he worked on it. This car holds a lot of memories for me.

Present Or Future Plans:

Body needs a little TLC, some minor interior work is needed (headliner, seats recovered)
